Re: Corpus Armor and Armor Stacking

Yes, Corpus Armor counts as a piece of armor for all purposes, including stacking. It's effectively an improved piece of leather armor.

In general, armor tags don't have a separate trait that explicitly states they count as armor. The simplest indicator to look for is that it will grant armor points.

Re: Fomori and Disable

Disable does block a Fomori from spending Health/Willpower/Virtue to activate powers. Disable prevents you from spending energy. Those resources are not themselves energy, but they are spent as energy for the purpose of power activation. Fomori must use health, virtue, or willpower as energy for the...

Re: Ceilican/Iron/Withstand/Fire Sword

Thank you for your input, you raise a lot of really good points. We've ruled that Withstand does function for Ceilicans struck by metal weapons. That's perfectly in line with the intended usage of the power, and it's necessary to make the iron weakness less debilitating. We do want to do a balance/c...

Re: Iron Agg and Withstand

Yes, Withstand will work in this scenario.

The intent of the power is to prevent one instance of damage from being agg to you. If we can assume an unspoken type for exposure damage, we can assume an unspoken type for damage attacks by normal metal weapons.

Re: Song of Rage and Frenzy Control

Characters with Frenzy Control are able to use Song of Rage. They can enter frenzy without cost (not even the 1 energy for Frenzy Control), and may benefit from the Augment. "Other sources" here means "people who are not you", rather than "effects that are not Frenzy Control". Song of Rage grants th...

Re: Using Rage to heal to 1, and Frenzy control

Frenzy Control does not prevent the frenzy provoked by spending Rage to return to 1 health.

"Other sources" here means "people who are not you", rather than "effects that are not Frenzy Control". We could probably clean up that wording, if there are enough people who are confused by it.

Re: Jamaks at Character Creation

The patron lists are not meant to be exhaustive, but to give players an idea of the most common ones that are unlikely to make life difficult for our lovely CGs.

You may begin game with any Patron that your CG approves.

Re: Use of coin at the Shifter Camp out

Sorry for the long delay on this. We were busy with projects all summer and the forum has been a lower priority. I hope this reply isn't too late to be useful. Yes, you can trade IG coin and items at unofficial events. Please note that stealing is not allowed at unofficial events, as players don't h...

Sorry for the long delay on this. We were busy with projects all summer and the forum has been a lower priority. I hope this reply isn't too late to be useful. It's as much about telegraphing your equipment to other players as it is about the actual protectiveness. The lamellar would definitely coun...

Re: Melee Weapon lengths

Just to provide an update: this didn't make it into the current revision that's about to go up for review. This project was focused on errata incorporation, and this ended up being outside its scope.

It's still on our radar, and something we'll be keeping in mind for the next revision.
