Every state and town has at least a salvage yard where useful parts of dilapidated vehicles are salvaged for re-use. Most of the parts would be non-functional. But even the most dilapidated vehicles have a usable part either on the inside or on the outside.

The snake's rattles made a weird noise, kind of like rustling leaves, but different. Robert stepped right up beside it and pushed his Y stick behind the snake's head. It would have worked except the prongs were too long and the surprised viper quickly crawled around the stick and up toward Robert's hand. Fortunately, its mouth was full. Robert dropped his Y stick, demanding mine. No objection was heard from his little brother. Having already, wet my pants, I was more than happy to give it over.

But these benefits are long-term, not short-term. The only short-term to come is change, and to those who've already cemented how they think the world should be, change is a wrecking ball. And whenever you see a wrecking ball come towards you, you fear it.

It boils down to only two types of beer, home brewed and store bought. I know there are plenty of beers from all flavors, categories and experiments. But in problem solving, you have to look at the escalation of the issue as it is directly proportional to the value of the beer.

An ordinary cup of coffee with skim milk might not taste as great, sans the loads of calories, but at least you know your morning cup of java is not contributing to your weight gain.

I believe the viewer is more comfortable and more accepting of an image that fits their mental picture...and let's face it...so many times reality just does not live up to what we picture in our heads. Also, when a viewer sees an image and it matches their perception of something they can quickly, in their thinking, move onto the message...rather than using their subconscious process to fit the reality into their pre-conceived notions. At any rate, in my experience, catering to preconceptions seems to work well in conceptual stock photography.
