Not much needs to be said about the first in the Terminator franchise.

It doesn't play or look great, nor does it properly showcase the characters meant to replace Batman. Instead of going to the extremes by ditching Batman and replacing him with four other heroes, WB Games Montreal should have re-established the franchise for the next-gen consoles and then switched gears with a follow-up. There's simply far too much going on in this game that doesn't come off as a 2022 AAA title.  Gotham Knights makes some bold choices overall, but the execution is poor.

The following episode, we learn Larys has since been named Lord of Harrenhal. Larys, aligning himself firmly in team Hightower, in episode 6, arranged for both his father and brother to be killed on their return to Harrenhal.

Larys then explains that Alicent's servant is one of the spies and indicates he could take out the spymaster if the queen wishes it. Alicent seems all too aware of what this means. To get it out of him, Alicent has to peel her stockings off and lay her bare feet on the table.

Meanwhile, Barbara Gordon/Batgirl is grieving for both Batman and her father, Commissioner Gordon, who's been killed off alongside the Caped Crusader. Tim Drake, the latest person to hold the Robin mantle, is the new addition to the group and is mainly just an awkward kid whose narrative role is constantly looking up details on clues. 

You already know that if you've seen the teaser for episode 9, titled The Green Council, which announced the monarch's passing after last week's show. Just before Viserys died, he managed to ensure the realm's disruption when he accidentally gave Alicent the impression he wanted their son Aegon to be king.

Drawing comparisons to Ex Machina, Archive is assured storytelling with an astute focus on character. His reasons are hidden, personal and sure to put a spanner in the works. Archive (2020)
