There are a number of hand signals that are used to indicate various things in game:
- Fingers Spread across Face – Invisible and can not be perceived without the Cloak Sight power.
- Crossed Fingers – Temporarily Out-of-Game, usually to ask a question. This shows you are briefly out of game. This should be used sparingly. It's intended for rules clarifications; using it to tell a joke or make a snarky out of game remark will annoy people.
- Two Fingers Placed on Temple – Using telepathic communication.
- Boffer on Head – Out-of-Game. This is typically used if you are gong to be OOG for more than a brief moment. This is the same as wearing an orange headband.
- Arms Crossed over Chest – Using Hasty Escape. The Character is resistant to damage.
- Hands Spread to Either Side – Indicates that a power is being used that affects everyone within mental range. (10 ft.)
