Besides our six weekend events a year, people will host events that last an afternoon or evening at their home. There is usually one for Vampires, Shifters, and Wraiths, but there may be more or less as time and space permits.

You can find more information about these events in the Parties and Gatherings section or the specific faction section of the forums.

Reminder: If you are bringing in a new PC, between game gatherings do NOT count as a check in. Your character sheet has not been added to the Most Holy Tiny Vault of Check In, and therefore you don't have any dots. This is to avoid any rewind problems (I totally was able to body wrack you yesterday, but I got betteh!) if you decide to change your concept or power choices before your character is added to the MHTVoCI.

At the host's discretion, innate abilities that don't cost experience, such as shifting into war form, vampire feeding, or mortal bleeding, can be allowed since you really can't avoid having it with this character. If you somehow change your character so much that you cease to be able to do these exp-less things, you probably have a new name and a new shtick too.

Lastly, Archery and advanced levels of Brawl and Melee cost XP. They are skills. Any character may use a single melee weapon or a single brawl boffer to swing for 1 damage. Also, anyone can throw core-less latex thingy (that's an official term) approved by DaS for 1 damage.

At between game gatherings, there are no permanent changes to character sheets. You cannot teach or learn skills. You cannot die. Your character doesn't know about that last part.
