These are not attacks. They are used to gain character state information (with some exceptions). They may be used under the same conditions as mental effects. Sensory powers may target a character that is dying but not characters that are dead.
Addendum: Sensory powers may be used across the gauntlet on a target the caster can perceive without calling breach. |
