Version 3.4.20.0 of our launcher has been released. It has beta support for devices running ARM and preparations to support translations and multilingual support.

At first, ATLauncher did not work well with ARM devices, but with this update, we've added support for running Minecraft on ARM devices. Gui mods We've thoroughly tested it and it should work flawlessly. However should you be using an ARM device and are experiencing issues you're experiencing, please contact us via Discord to inform us. We now fully support ARM devices.

Lastly we've been gearing up the launcher to work with multiple languages, and while we're still not there yet but we're getting close and the last step to get going is to ensure that the translations are up-to-date and completed so that the UI can be worked on to support the various languages. If you're fluent in English and another language and would like to contribute to the translation of the launcher, visit our CrowdIn page and contribute to translating. You can also join the #translations channel on our Discord channel. Guimods

Jul 11, 2022 Mojang accounts can't be used online anymore

We're currently experiencing multiple issues that are being reported where users are unable to login to online servers with their non-migrated Mojang account.

Microsoft seems to have pulled support for Mojang accounts. If you want to play online servers, you will have to transfer your account to Microsoft because the APIs that were previously used to manage session management within the game are no longer working.

It could be a bug but it is more likely it is intentional. You will no longer be able to log in to online servers with Mojang accounts.

May 18, 2022 – CurseForge Modpacks Project Distribution Tggle

CurseForge was not without a caveat when it announced that the official API would be available for third-party use. Projects that are hosted on CurseForge could be able to decide whether third party clients can download their projects. This means that any mod available on CurseForge can decide to stop distribution of their mods to all third party clients.

The change is in effect as of today and will mean some modifications to how you download modpacks from CurseForge.

Modpacks that contain mods that prevent third parties from downloading them might require additional steps to download the mods manually via your browser to complete the installation process.

Similar processes will be involved for any mods added to instances from CurseForge also.

If you have any problems downloading CurseForge modpacks and mods, we invite you to contact us on our Discord.

May 17 2022 Modrinth Modpacks have been launched

Modrinth Modpacks are now available in an Alpha state.

Modrinth, a mod (and now modpack), platform that is an alternative to CurseForge is what you need to be aware of. Modrinth is open-source and has a lot of active development. It is exciting to see the progress made by Modrinth. Modrinth.com provides more information about the project and Modrinth.

Modpacks can now be uploaded and downloaded from Modrinth. ATLauncher supports both exporting instances to the Modrinth format ready for uploading to Modrinth as well as downloading and installing pre-made packs.
