Breast augmentation, also referred to as mammoplasty augmentation, is a procedure that helps to increase the size of the breasts. The procedure involves placing breast implants in the tissues of the breast or chest muscles.

Breast augmentation could be an opportunity for some women to be more confident. Others see it as part of the process of reshaping their breasts in different conditions.

Talk to a surgeon if you are considering breast augmentation. You should be aware of the process involved in the surgery, including the potential risks, complications, and the follow-up treatment.

The reason why it's done
Breast augmentation may help:

If you believe your breasts are too small or smaller than you should look, then you should consider enhancing your appearance. This can impact how you dress and what bra you wear to correct the asymmetry.
You can make adjustments for a decrease in breast size after pregnancy or a significant weight loss
Make sure your breasts are in the correct shape after the breast surgery, in addition to other conditions.
Build confidence in yourself
Discuss with your surgeon your goals so they can give you an accurate idea of what breast augmentation might accomplish.

There are some risks
The procedure of breast augmentation can pose many risk factors.

Capsular Contracture is a damaged tissue that distorts breast implants' form (capsular contraction).
The Breast Enlargement Turkey pain
Infection
Changes in breast sensation
Implant position changes
Implant rupture or leakage
To correct these problems, it may be necessary to undergo further surgery, in order to take out or repair the implants.

What should we expect?
The procedure can be performed at an outpatient hospital or at a surgery center. The patient will likely go home on that same day. The procedure usually doesn't require an overnight stay in a hospital.

Breast augmentation is sometimes done with local anesthesia. This means you are awake while your breasts are being numb. Most of the time, however the procedure of breast augmentation occurs with general anesthesia in which you're asleep for the surgery. The plastic surgeon will go over various options for anesthesia with you.

During the procedure
In order to insert the breast implant your plastic surgeon will cut a single cut (incision) in one of three locations:

The fold below your breasts (inframammary).
Under your arm (axillary)
Around your finger (periareolar)
After cutting an incision, the surgeon will separate the breast tissue from the connective tissue and muscles of your chest. This creates an area behind or front of the muscle with the largest outer part on the chest wall (pectoral muscles). The surgeon will place the implant in this pocket, and then place it in the middle of the nose.

After being placed after being inserted, saline implants may be filled with sodium water that is sterile. Silicone gel is pre-filled in silicone implants.

When the implant is place, the surgeon will close the incision using stitches (sutures) -and then bandage it with the adhesive of skin as well as surgical tape.

The procedure will be followed
Following surgery, soreness and swelling are normal. It is also possible to get some bruises. Expect your scars to fade over time , but they will not completely disappear.

When you're recovering you may want to wear the compression bandage or sports bra to provide extra support and to help position the breast implants. Your surgeon might prescribe pain medication as well.

Follow the advice of your surgeon to return to normal activities. If you don't have an physically demanding job it is possible return to work in two weeks. Do not engage in strenuous activity or anything that can cause a rise in your pulse or blood pressure for at least two weeks. While your breasts are healing take note that they'll be sensitive to any physical contact or sudden movements.

You'll have to visit an expert surgeon if your surgeon used sutures that don't absorb or put drainage tubes near your breasts.

A bacterial infection can indicate a serious health issue. Get in touch with your surgeon as soon as you notice. Also, inform your doctor when you feel breathing problems or chest pain.
