The Minecraft Vanilla Cape has players confused. Minecraft has a wide selection of cool capes. Did you know that? It's one those item slots in the sandbox which most people don't think about. But they're available if you require them. huliypin is blogging again Some of these items are for doing things like migrating your Mojang account, or even attending events, however, a future one will require you to have done something.

The Minecraft Vanilla Cape is a hidden treasure at the moment. This is due to an article was published earlier this week on the official Minecraft website, which talked about the cape, but was taken down just a few hours later. It's a bizarre state circumstances and there's not a reason as to why.

Phoenix SC posted a video about the whole incident and even made an illustration to show the cape in motion. The short version of the entire story is that Mojang put up a post that we've just linked to, but it returns an error 404 "not found" error, and then takes it down. It clarified that players who purchased the Java and Bedrock versions of Minecraft before June 6, 2022 would get an extravagant Vanilla Cap.

The site was taken down a few hours later and is now accessible only on the Wayback Machine. This is quite a mystery. The article isn't particularly alarming and it doesn't look like it was beforehand announced. Although we don't know why it was removed, it is evident that it was. According to the Wiki the cape was announced on the Minecraft Discord server So why was it removed?
