Minecraft Story Mode Game Series From Telltale Mojang

Minecraft: Story Mode - A Telltale Game Series is an episodic narrative-driven game series set in Minecraft's blocky world, coming in 2015 to PC, Mac, mobile devices and what Mojang calls "Xbox consoles" and "PlayStation consoles." Telltale has clarified its platforms.

The game's storyline is original and influenced by the choices made by players, much like Telltale's Tales from the Borderlands or Game of Thrones or The Wolf Among Us. Telltale claims that the Telltale game series will bring together familiar characters with new themes to create an entirely new Minecraft experience. It is inspired by the Minecraft community and continues to inspire a new generation.

Mojang provides a bit more detail about the way it approaches story telling on its blog: "We're not intending on making an official story for Steve, or explaining the world of Minecraft in detail. It's going to be a fun game."
