Living in the Pryramid: Unlife in Clan Tremere

The Tremere value efficiency, loyalty, and cunning above all else. The Tremere seem distinctly inhuman as their obsession has consumed much of their sentiment. They aren't evil, or good. They simply have goals to achieve and believe deeply that the ends (the betterment of House Tremere) justify the means. They aren't immoral as much as a-moral. Morality one way or the other just doens't fit in the picture. They would be just as unliklely to do something good that doesn't serve a purpose and they would be evil. Needless malice creates enemies and gains nothing.

Usually, a new recruit would be under blood oath for as long as it takes for those above her in the pyramid to be satisfied with her loyalty. The Tremere value clever minions, but loyal ones even more so. Waste not, want not. The Tremere are masters of Dominate, so they have all sorts of ways to condition their underlings into doing and being exactly what they want, even without the young cainite even knowing how deeply their mental programming goes.

Their teaching methods are very specific to each student. They'll simply start with instruction. If the student does not exel under that, they'll try other methods until something works. Excellence is expected, and anyone who makes it through the doors of Chantry will come out....better. By a certain point of view.
