And they are not alone. Virtually every economy in the world that had any semblance of stability printed billions of their own currency as a global stimulus ensued in the aftermath of the economic crisis of October 2008. From Viet Nam to Dubai to China, Europe and many, many more governments went to their Treasuries and Central Banks and authorized them to print more currency in an aggressive attempt stave off economic collapse. The world's economies are on edge.



Right, this happens everyday. Fine, but the part I found unbelievable was the amount of concrete they were putting in the trailer. They had a half-ton pickup hooked up to this pretty beefy trailer. Half-ton pickups are not designed to pull "beefy" trailers. They are designed for some "light" work and to pull small loads. If you want to car head lights a trailer full of concrete, get a one ton or larger pickup. But this isn't about pickups.

Dealing with a cool bedroom is frustrating. If you turn up the heat to warm the room, the rest of the house gets too warm. Shut all the heating registers except the bedroom and it puts too much back pressure on the furnace. Too often I see a household try to adjust the temperature of one room by closing heating registers in other rooms and soon they have half the registers in the house closed and the home heating system working overtime to satisfy the heating request at the thermostat.

2) The junk yard. While you might think you are above visiting a junk yard, are you above saving a lot of money? Probably not. A quick stop in at the local junk yard might save you a lot of money compared to a new air filter. And, even better, this ties directly into point #1. A friend of my, Robert, needed an auto part so he looked online and found a junk yard. The junk yard shipped him a part that was almost new and he couldn't have been happier. Just cause an air filter is used, doesn't mean it's very used!

When people dump their used cars off at an auto parts recycler, they are freeing up precious space in the almost overflowing landfills. It doesn't make sense to throw something away, when it can still be used. If you pick the part from a used car, you are going to be getting an actual manufacturer's part; no knock-offs here. You can rest assured that the parts recyclers will know which parts are usable, and which parts are actually junk.

Another car part that is very noticeable is your windshield wipers. We have all seen those wipers that looked deformed or like some kind of monster. Not only do they not work as well when they are so bent out of shape; they really can make a normal car look strange. It is also a matter of safety to keep your windshield wipers in check. All the rain and sleet has to get off your window somehow. It is important to keep this in mind when writing your list of priorities on what to fix.
