home cleaning services castle rock co The tiles crunched under my feet as I climbed up to the ridge of the roof. Broken and missing tiles were evident everywhere, as well as whole bare patches where they had been stripped off the roof, leaving bare underlayment. Some slopes were missing the underlayment as well, exposing the plywood deck. But even the remaining tiles weren't right - they moved when stepped on or touched. Their fasteners had been pulled loose. The whole roof was beyond repairable due to so many missing tiles and the additional breakage that would occur during the repair process. I declared the roof a total loss.
Dry-cleaning really isn't dry at all. Dry-cleaning refers to not using water for cleaning. It is cleaning with a petroleum solvent as the cleaning agent. The most common agent for dry-cleaning is perchloroethylene - "perc" for short. It is an excellent degreaser and can be used on all fabrics including silk, acetate, rayon and polyester. It can cause damage to some sequins and beads. It can melt the coating on some beads and melt the glue if the beads and sequins are glued onto the fabric.
The costliest storm ever was hurricane Andrew which hit Homestead and Dade Counties Florida in 1992. Hurricane Andrew carried winds of 156 miles per hour causing over 26.5 billion dollars. Residents again were caught off guard by Andrew's sudden turn south. Preventive measures taken after the storm included storm shutters, and upgrade construction on new homes.
Number two favorite on Ev's list. There has always been that one person that made life at work less than enjoyable if not a complete drag. Can you relate? If we discover we don't exactly click with a client, we have a system for replacing them within one week, sometimes sooner. You'll never feel trapped with an unwanted associate again.
emergency system response If you have the option of building your home, look into hip roofs. This provides a less wind resistant surface and allows the wind to pass by with less strain on the structure. If the hip roof doesn't appeal to you, you can check in which direction the wind normally blows in your area and position the pitch of your roof to raise the wind like a wedge. This is a much better move than letting the gable of your home catch all the wind. Wind forces against your gables are most likely to cause your roof to fold over like dominoes set up in a pattern and then ultimately blow away.
We started a house cleaning business over nine years ago. Although our schedules are now brimming with other creative commitments, we continue to clean houses and offices because the pay is excellent, it gives us the free time we need to pursue our personal goals, and we like it.
Know your elevation above sea level. Be familiar with your tides. Know how high you are above the normal high tides to get and idea of the danger from storm tides. Talk to some of the residents who know the historical high tides. Hurricanes can push high water many miles inland! If you live on the coast, waves will also add to the height of the storm tide.
