Version 3.4.20.0 of our launcher is now available. It has beta support for ARM-based devices and preparations to support translations as well as multi-language support.

Previously ATLauncher didn't work too well with ARM devices, but with this update we've included support for running Minecraft on ARM devices. We've tried this out on a bunch and it should be good, however if you have an ARM device and notice problems, please join us on our Discord channel to help us refine and fix issues moving forward since we now fully support ARM devices. Just say yes

We've also been working on getting the launcher to work with multiple languages. Although we're not there just yet however, we're on the right track and the final step to get going is to ensure that the translations are current and completed so that the UI can be worked on to accommodate the different languages. If you're fluent in English and another language and would like to help with the translation of the launcher, please visit our CrowdIn page and help translate. Feel free to contact us via the #translations channel of our Discord.

Jul 11, 2022 - Mojang accounts cannot be used online any longer

Multiple issues are currently being discussed with regard to the inability to login to online servers using an unmigrated Mojang account.

Microsoft has pulled support for Mojang accounts. If you want to play on servers online you'll need to migrate your account to Microsoft since the old API's used to manage session management within the game no longer work.

This may just be a glitch, but more than likely it's intentional and you'll no longer be able to login to Mojang's servers online using Mojang accounts going forward.

May 18 2022 CurseForge Modpacks Project Distribution Toggle

When CurseForge announced that an official API was coming to third parties to use, there was an exception. CurseForge projects would be able to choose whether third-party downloads are permitted for their projects. CurseForge mods now have the option to stop distribution to third-party clients.

This change will be effective as of today. Modpack downloads from CurseForge.

Any modpacks which include mods that block third parties from downloading them will require extra steps to manually download those mods via your browser in order to complete the installation process.

Similar procedures will be involved for any modifications added to instances from CurseForge as well.

If you have any issues downloading CurseForge modpacks or mods, please contact us in our Discord.

May 17 2022 - Modrinth Modpacks Have Launched

Modrinth Modpacks are now available in an Alpha state.

Modrinth, a mod (and now modpack) platform that acts as an alternative to CurseForge is what you need to be aware of. Just say yes Modrinth is open-source and has a lot of active development. It's exciting to observe the progress of Modrinth. Modrinth.com gives more details about the project and Modrinth.

The latest news is that Modpacks are now available to be uploaded and downloaded from Modrinth. ATLauncher has support for both exporting instances to the Modrinth format that is ready to upload to Modrinth and downloading and installing pre made packs.
