The Minecraft Vanilla Cape has players stumped. There are tons of cool capes available in Minecraft. Minecraft Servers Did you know this? It's one of the item slots in the sandbox game that a lot of people probably do not pay attention to, but are there if you need them. Some of these slots are to be used for things like transferring your Mojang account, or going to events, but an upcoming one requires you to have already done something.

The Minecraft Vanilla Cape is a hidden treasure at the moment. This is due to an article on the cape was posted on the official Minecraft website earlier this week, but it was removed a few hours later. This is a bizarre state of affairs and there's no explanation for the reason.

Phoenix SC posted a video on the whole debacle and even created an illustration of the cape as well should you wish to experience it in action. The short version of the whole story is that Mojang published a blog that we've linked to, but it returns an error 404 "not found" error, then shut it down. Minecraft Servers It stated that those who bought the Java and Bedrock versions of Minecraft before June 6, 2022 would get a fancy Vanilla Cap.

The site was taken down just a few hours later, and is now accessible only on the Wayback Machine. This is very strange. There's nothing particularly shocking about the story or even like something that's been announced in the early hours. Although we don't know why it was removed, it's clear that it was. According to the Wiki, the cape was also announced on the Minecraft Discord server So why was the post removed?
