Minecraft Earth Beta Brings aR Building to Android next Week

Don't worry, Android fans -- if you've been wondering when you can get the virtual reality experience of Minecraft Earth, you don't have much time to wait. Mojang and Microsoft announced that the Minecraft Earth beta will be available for devices powered by Google starting next week. The beta encourages users to sign-up to stand the best chance of playing Minecraft Earth.

It's not an extension of the world-building game that you play in the real world. You can face challenges when you step outside and encourages you to embark on adventures with your friends. Think of it more as an extremely social Minecraft experience that just happens to use AR as its medium.
