Minecraft might get Banned in Turkey for being too Violent
In a move that is pure absurdity, Turkey wants to ban Minecraft because its Family and Social Policy Ministry believes it is too violent for children. Yes, Minecraft is being banned because Survival Mode requires you to defend yourself from zombie-like Mobs, which sometimes means you must kill them. Minecraft Servers According to Hurriyet Daily News, the Ministry declares that children can confuse Minecraft's pixelated, blocky world for real, which would lead them to think that torturing animals was acceptable. Sure; okay. Why did the outfit first take a look at Microsoft's $2.5billion purchase? to determine whether the game encourages violence against women. Its heart was right from the beginning.
Even if you're only armed with a basic knowledge of Minecraft, it is likely that the whole thing appears too bizarre to be true. Unfortunately, that's not the situation. Minecraft server list VentureBeat points out that Turkey would be the first to ban the game in the event that the Ministry's petition is successful however, Turkey doesn't have a history prohibiting violent games. With the history of the government of blocking access to websites like Twitter and YouTube, however, it's not clear whether it will follow the same path as Mojang's baby. Minecraft Servers
