Minecraft builds form a significant part of the community experience in the most popular game of all time, which is about punching down trees. There are many amazing things to look at. From the practical, like this YouTuber making Pac-Man into a horror show to more traditional like these Civilisation VI cutscene replicas. Extremecraft Mojang often organizes competitions to inspire players, but they are not limited in their by creativity.

The most recent build challenge focused on Star Wars, with Mojang challenging players to create incredible objects from the universe of Jar Jar Binks with blocks. Ashwood won the competition for his design of the Vuutun Palaa (a Lucrehulk Class battleship which was in charge during the Naboo invasion in Episode 1) In secret, the best Star Wars film.

Ashwood, who goes under Gumliii on Reddit, explained that the build does not have an interior at present however, they are looking into it. Gumliii made several Star Wars-themed models, which you can see on their Planet Minecraft Page. They also mentioned that they'll upload this build on their page so that you can play around with it. Just be aware that it's a large diameter of about 1,300 blocks and utilizes the entire height limit of 383 blocks. It's big.

Other entries include breathtaking cityscapes and recreations of famous battles and models. If you're wondering how on earth people can put these images together, many of the more popular ones tend to make use of plugins such as WorldEdit to make things easier. Gumliii worked for two weeks on it. It's still a huge effort even using the plugins.

This Lucrehulk Battleship won me the Star Wars Build Contest! from Minecraft

This Lego-built Minecraft piston is a fantastic illustration of the complexity of builds. It can even move, though they didn't make working Redstone, which is probably for the best.
