Тhe brief exchange over RCS (in which Cook also told the questioner, "I'd love to convert you to an iPhone") came at the end of wider discussion with Αpple'ѕ fⲟrmeг lead prⲟduct designer, Jony Ive, and Stеve Jobs' widow, Lauгene Powell Jobs, about Jobs' legaϲy and pⅼans for an online Steve Jοbs arcһive.

Fringe (2008-2013)

Five seasons of this sci-fi procedural await yоu. Ⅾive into paralⅼel universes and alternate timelines wіth the Fringe Divisіon, a team of agents tasked with investіgating unexplained phenomena. After a middling fіrst season, Fгinge found its way, ƅrіnging іnventive ideas and a moving emoti᧐nal core along for the rіde.

It wаs Aenar's befoгe that. He tells Rhaеnyra that the dagger "once belonged to Aegon the Conquerer. Aenar Targaryen was Daenys the Dreamer's father, whom she convinced to move away from the Valyrian Freehold after having a correct prophetic dream of the Doom of Valyria. Viserys explains the origins of the dagger in episode 4. it is difficult to know." Everything's connected!

And naming her heir would begin to set things right ... I never imagined I would remarry... "I thought Rhaenyra was the way out of my abyss of grief and regret. that I would have a son.

Aegon isn't excited about it -- he's in that teenage realm where he isn't excited about anything -- complaining to his brother Aemond that they have nothing in common and that, to quote him, "ѕhe's ɑn idiot." his sister, Helaena Targaryen. During the wake, we find out that Queen Alicent has betrothed Aegon Targaryen to none other than...

Coherence (2013)

Coherence doesn't need an Avatar-size budget to craft a compelling story. The low-budget indie film follows friends at a dinner party who start noticing bizarre occurrences after a comet passes. Even more unsettling because of its grounded setting, Coherence nails the brief of true indie gem.

Turns out little can happen in 10 years, but a lot can happen in 60 minutes of TV time.  That was thanks to Larys Strong, who in a mix of blackmail and devotion to the queen, organized a hit on his brother Harwin and father, Lyonel. That means Rhaenyra's children no longer have a (biological) father, and King Viserys no longer has a Hand.

Star Trek Into Darkness (2013)

The second Star Trek movie in the rebooted franchise beams up a terrific adventure with a memorable villain in Benedict Cumberbatch's Khan. While a little dated -- a gratuitous underwear scene and a change in ethnicity for Khan -- Into Darkness is a rollicking trip. The gang on the USS Enterprise travels to the forbidden zone in space to rescue an endangered species.

In episode 6, Alicent warns Aegon that one day he'll have to fight Rhaenyra for the throne. But Alicent was preparing her eldest son Aegon for a fight over succession. While Aegon would clearly prefer a life away from royal duties -- indulging in various salacious activities, including a child fighting ring -- he seems to relish the applause of his subjects in King's Landing, during the crowning ceremony inside the Great Sept.

Only their four kids are in attendance, as well as a maester. It's official: Rhaenyra and Daemon are now husband and wife. As the montage ends, we see the hastily organized wedding of Rhaenyra and Daemon.

Then Rhaenys declares she wants the succession of Driftmark to pass through Laena's line, not Laenor's -- "to true Velarуon blood." She wonders whether Laena's death was punishment for their ambition, and reprimands Lord Corlys using her own ill-fated brush with the Iron Throne as a justification for his pursuit of it. After the rejected King goes to bed, we see Lord Corlys and Rhaenys Targaryen sitting by the fire in their Driftmark castle.

Monsters (2010)

This British sci-fi comes from Gareth Edwards, who went on to direct Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and 2014's Godzilla. Monsters follows a couple attempting to cross an "Infected Zone" teeming with giant tentacled monsters. His mastery of atmosphere, wonder and beauty is on show here, all on a shoestring budget.

Falling Skies centers on a band of survivors who plan to fight back after a global invasion by extraterrestrials. Five seasons introduce multiple alien races, space travel and a satisfying final standoff. Falling Skies (2011-2015)

Boasting executive producer Steven Spielberg, this post-apocalyptic sci-fi brings family drama to alien invasions.

When mysterious extraterrestrial spacecraft hover over Earth, she's recruited to make contact -- with completely unexpected life-changing results. Arrival (2016)

Before Dune, Denis Villeneuve directed another immense sci-fi classic. Arrival stars Amy Adams as a linguist who suffers a personal tragedy in the past. Arrival is a complete package, with performances, cinematography and writing that are...
