Minecraft Hits PS4 Vita Xbox one In August
The Xbox One, PS4 and Vita versions of Minecraft are scheduled to launch in August for $20, Mojang announced today. minecraft server list On Xbox One and PS4, the game costs $5 for players who already own Minecraft on Xbox 360 or PS3. Cross-Buy titles are available on Vita. This means that even if you already own Minecraft for PS3 it is possible to purchase it on Vita. All PS3 DLC will work in the Vita edition, but not all skins and texture packs will work on PS4 and Xbox One versions due to licensing agreements.
Minecraft: The Xbox One and PS4 editions have bigger worlds than the current-gen versions. Both versions allow players to import saved data from PS3 + Vita and Xbox 360 games. However, saves cannot be transferred from next-gen systems to current generation systems.
"There are technical reasons behind this; we can expand our worlds without stress, but reducing them creates all sorts of issues," Mojang says.
