In with the past, and in for the future! Today, we're introducing a new naming convention (well it's been a while since we've introduced it) for Minecraft Java Edition. Strongcraft The previous pre-release was actually, the release candidate, however, we're making that more transparent by changing the name to be "release candidate". This means that if there's no major issues that arise after this release, no further changes will be done before the full release.

In the context of the complete release In case you've been living under a rock (it's Minecraft, so that's OK) We'll be making available the Nether Update on Tuesday, June 23. It's next week!
