You'll need to construct the killing pit using water streams and lava. You will need to build your Minecraft village on top of the pit to prevent it from being destroyed. It's as easy as having a handful of floating beds, some cauldrons, and some blocks around to stop them falling off or escaping. There must be a threat, like zombies, so chuck one into a cauldron or composter and suspend that somewhere so that the villagers can see it most of the time. To be able to panic, you'll require at least one villager. However the villagers must be capable of sleeping and doing their work. This is much easier when your village doesn't have to work.

Above your weird suspended village, you'll require an enormous roof or a covering to stop the light from turning your villagers into witches. Also, you need to ensure that your Iron Golem can't spawn in the village, but will instead spawn below it, close to the pit of death. Alusky This is done by making sure that your surfaces don't meet the requirements for the Iron Golem's spawning: buttons placed on top, hollow blocks or blocks with nothing beneath them are all acceptable.
This will result in the Iron Golem spawning on the ground. It will then move towards the suspended zombie, get trapped in the lava pit and eventually die. You can put the hopper, some chests and it will take all the resources.
