Minecraft Content Creator Technoblade has Died Following Battle With Cancer

Minecraft streamer and content creator Technoblade has passed away following an extended battle with stage 4 cancer the family of Technoblade announced in a statement and video.



Techno had previously disclosed that he was diagnosed with cancer in August. Techno has been updating his followers on a regular basis about his diagnosis, and is continuing to receive treatment and create content on YouTube. Netigre



Techno's father, Techno, narrates a final posthumous note titled "so long geeks" that was written specifically for the occasion. It was packed with the creator's signature dry humor and dark humor. But it also serves as a final "thank you" to all those who have embraced the Minecraft star throughout the years.



"Thank you for supporting my work over the years. If I had another 100 years of life I'm sure I'd prefer to be Technoblade again every single time. Techno said that those were the most joyous years of my life.



"I hope you enjoyed my writing and that I am able to make a few of you laugh. I love you all and wish you a long, happy, and prosperous life. Technoblade out."



In his message, Techno who reveals that his real name is Alex is talking about how the money from merchandise and other "sell-out" pushes over the last year is being used to send his children to college, if they want to go. He also talks about thanking his viewers for giving him such happy moments-all while a slideshow of images showing him throughout various stages of his treatment are shown on screen.



In the wake of Techno's final message his father details how he had originally intended to write and record the video prior to his passing however, his declining health and other factors kept it from happening. Netigre His father said that he wrote the message while in his bed and passed away eight hours later.



"He was the most incredible kid you could ever wish for," Technoblade's father said. "I miss Technoblade. Thank you to everyone of you, for everything.
