No one wants to go hungry for the weekend. Not getting enough food can really ruin a game. Each player should come prepared to feed themselves for the full weekend.

There are in-game eating establishments which will serve food for in-game coin or possibly trade food for in-game labor. These are all player-run establishments and set their own policies.

Generally there is a bit of food such as bread, cheese, and apples that are freely available for people to eat. Players should not count on this free food as anywhere near enough to get through the weekend.

Out-of-game containers

When you are preparing food some interaction with out of game items is largely unavoidable. Even so effort should be made to limit how public your out-of-game stuff is seen by other players. Simple thing can make a huge difference. Some examples:

  • Pour your drinks into a more period looking drinking vessel. Don't just carry the plastic bottle around with you.
  • Throw a table cloth over your cooler or keep it under your bed if there is space. This really helps it blend into everything else when you're not getting into it.
  • Take prepared food items out of wrappers and carry them in a cloth napkin. Take your food out of its packaging and

Tips:

  • Bring a cooler. Refrigerator space is very limited and is generally taken up by the establishments that are serving food to the public. Do not count on having space in a refrigerator unless you have already made prior arrangements.
  • Bring some food that requires minimal preparation. Like with the refrigerator space most of the actual kitchens are used by the in-game establishments to prepare meals. You may be able to use the kitchens when they are not preparing food but you should clear that usage with the person running each kitchen and expect to not be able to use it during common meal times.
