Lenovo Introduces new Server Platform with AMD Data Center Chips
Content of the article Lenovo Group said on Tuesday it had launched a new server platform capable of performing heavy computing tasks in data centers, using chips from Advanced Micro Devices Inc.

Lenovo is the largest maker of personal computers, is also a major producer of servers that sit inside data centers and power online services such as gaming and video streaming.
Intel's Xeon chips have dominated the market for server chips, but AMD has been growing since its re-entry into the market three years ago with rival EPYC processors that have received favorable reviews.

Article content Lenovo announced on Tuesday that its newest server design will house two AMD processor chips inside a single server. This will make the servers more capable of handling more workload. Previously, Lenovo only offered servers with one AMD processor chip.
