| Instructions: | 1. Stand next to a target in the Skinlands while you are in the Shadowlands. If the target moves more than 10 feet from you during this ritual, the ritual fails and you must start over.
2. While standing still, roleplay carving the symbol from this ritual into your hand and draw it on with a red makeup pencil. 3. Perform 10 seconds of ritual roleplay while holding your hand over/next to the target. 4. Incant: "Láthos pli̱gés xegelásoun ton theatí̱" 5. Pay the cost. |
| Effects: | Choose a number from 1 to 5. The target is affected by a Condition that causes them to treat the chosen number as their current health levels on any Medicine, Sense Health or Sense Maximum Health checks. This does not change their actual health levels in any way or cause the character to feel injured. It only affects the out-of-game responses to those powers. If the target is willing and you are not in a public space, feel free to offer them use of the fake injury makeup to go along with this ritual's effects. |
