Bear[edit]

Totem of the Gurahl

Bear – or Modi – or Death Bear - is a totem of War. Bear will kill anything that is not Gurahl that he sees, as death is his purpose – he is a sort of grim reaper figure, and the Gurahl claim that Bear is the last thing that everyone sees before they die. Only Gurahl follow Bear, as only Gurhal can follow Bear directly and survive his gaze. Bear has a particular hatred for the Garou since the War of Rage, due to the slaughter of so many Gurhal.

Ban: Bear asks nothing of his children.

Mistress of Catkind[edit]

Totem of the Bastet Wisdom.

Jamak of the Bastet. While not a Totem in the Garou sense, The Mistress is a mercurial, mysterious, and aloof spirit. Bastet may align with her to share secrets and pass messages between the reclusive Catkin. Some Bastet believe her to be an aspect of Gaia (Creation is a woman, after all), but the Mistress refuses to divulge that particular secret. She is, in many ways, the spiritual embodiment of secrets – and secrets are something that Bastet hold in very high regard. The Mistress of Catkind also means many other things to the Bastet – but – naturally – these other aspects to her nature are secret; they are typically learned from firsthand when her children share secrets they have learned with her. Not all Bastet follow Mistress of Catkind, but most do.

Ban: A Bastet must share a secret with The Mistress when she is summoned.

Queen Ananasa[edit]

Totem of the Ananasi

Queen Ananasa is a totem of wisdom. Soon after their First Change, each Ananasi participates in a ritual wherein they meet the Queen Herself. After this, the Ananasi think only of serving Her and would never dream of following another - Ananasa is perfection and to serve her is a privilege without equal. Outside of this ritual, Queen Ananasa never comes in person, always sending a spirit envoy to convey information back and forth between her and her children. Only the Ananasi know why – and they’re not telling.

Ban: A follower of Queen Ananasa must always try to save their brethren from the grip of the Corruptor Wyrm.

Raven[edit]

Wisdom Tribe Totem of the Corax

Raven loves jokes, pranks, stories and sharing. He expects his children to have fun and not take life too seriously. He will sometimes answer his follower's questions with riddles and jokes so that they have to puzzle out the answer themselves. He has a fondness for friendly company and shiny things. Many Ragabash follow Raven.

Ban: None for Corax. Others can’t save wealth, instead using what is needed to survive.

Rat[edit]

War totem of the Ratkin

Rat, a totem of War, represents the Wyld in its rawest, most unpretentious form. Her children fight from the shadows and squalor with cunning and above all else - survival. Rat is a particularly powerful totem (consider how important Rats are in the dark ages). Some believe that the most commonly known aspect, Mother Rat, was once a healer, but was driven to madness by the War of Rage; following her advice to the letter may not always a good idea. Others suggest that it is a ruse; she expects cunning from her children and fierce practicality; wanting her followers to think like rats, not like sheep. Getting the job done and protecting family will gain her favor - regardless of methods. Some Bone Gnawers that follow Mother Rat remember her old incarnation as a protector of those at the "bottom of the barrel".

Ban: A follower of Rat must aid rats and their kin as long as this does not help the Tainted.
