Ten thousand Minecraft fans were in London on Saturday and Sunday for an event celebrating the cult video game. Faxys's



Microsoft, which is the owner of Minecraft and Minecraft, offered a handful of players the "golden ticket" to try its latest Augmented Reality device Hololens.



The company is working on a version of Minecraft to run on the system. It lets gamers project their creations onto any flat surface in 3D.



Callum Ward, who tried the device on Saturday and reported to BBC News it was "more difficult" to use than a console.



His brother Toby agreed it took some getting used to, but praised the "cool features" added to the game, including the ability to zap other players with lightning strikes.



Minecon 2015 set a new record in the world for the number of tickets sold at an event focusing on just one game.



There were also YouTube video stars Robert and Vik, better known as MrWoofless and Vikkstar123HD.



Vik said to the BBC that Minecon was a great experience as YouTuber. Faxsys We create content for a global audience and it's rare that they meet us.
