Can Minecraft Really help you Build A Career
Minecraft is a staple in the children's entertainment and now it can even assist them in finding the right job.
CareersCraft is a brand new Minecraft world that Careers Wales launched to help children aged between 8 and 13 years old explore and improve their career skills.
Six zones are based on landmarkssuch as the Senedd Big Pit, Coal Exchange, Caernarfon Castle, and the Big Pit.
Each zone is the specific learning area in the new Welsh curriculum.
It is available for download for anyone, but it also has an education edition available to all Welsh schools. Dk's Blog It is accompanied by lesson plans for teachers.

The players explore the different areas and complete challenges and activities as they go, learning about careers in specific fields and industries in Wales and finding out more about their own strengths and interests.
Maggie is a student at Risca Comprehensive School in Caerphilly county, told us: "It was a fun experience and a great way to learn and explore different careers through Minecraft."
Another pupil, Ferne, added: "It caused me to think about my future but in a fun way."
Gareth Phillips from Careers Wales said: "CareersCraft is a hugely thrilling and innovative resource that we hope will increase the aspirations and expand the horizons of the next generation.
"It's been great to see children exploring the world, developing their thinking and problem-solving skills while learning about Welsh culture and heritage and thinking about their future career paths."
