| Instructions: | You may receive one Heart of Darkness tag per event at checkin by presenting this scroll. You may only receive one such tag at check-in, regardless of how many scrolls you have.
1. The target lies on his back with the caster sitting, kneeling or standing beside him. 2. The caster pretends to cut the symbol from this scroll on the target's forehead while drawing it with the red make-up pencil. 3. Perform 60 seconds of ritual roleplay with the target. 4. Incant: "Extrahe serpentum a hoc, quem nostros aeternos fratres est." 5. Pay the casting cost. 6. Roleplay drawing the heart prop out from the target's chest, then fill out the Heart of Darkness tag and attach it to the prop. |
| Effects: | The target of this ritual becomes immune to staking and unable to frenzy by any means. Another character holding the heart prop is immune to all non-boffer attacks from the vampire who belongs to the heart, state “Fetter, no effect”. The heart prop must be displayed prominently to use this effect. If the heart is staked in front of the vampire he will be affected as though staked (and is not immune) so long as the heart remains in his presence.
A character may only have one tagged Heart of Darkness at a time. If the ritual is attempted on someone who already has a Heart of Darkness, the ritual fails. If the heart is destroyed, it will regrow in the owner’s chest. |
