Now, to experience Minecraft with ray tracing on Windows 10, you must first have a ray tracing capable GPU, like, a GeForce RTX 2060 or higher. Users who install Minecraft ray tracing will by default be able to enjoy enhanced graphics thanks to an exclusive physically-based rendering texture pack that works with the ray-traced effect to enhance the experience. There are plenty of maps and worlds with this feature - all of them available on the Minecraft Marketplace.

You can also design your own Ray Tracing Worlds using physically based rendered texture packets (PBRs). Does this sound complicated? Don't worry! NVIDIA has created a great starter pack and a helpful guidethat provides the information on a level that even a caveman like me can be able to comprehend. WIKIMEDIA This is a fantastic opportunity to transform my ugly dirt-filled homes into luxurious eco-lodges.

One thing to keep in mind is that having ray tracing support for worlds and maps don't alter gameplay mechanics or the way Minecraft operates, so you can still play together with anyone using the Bedrock version of Minecraft. players withoutray-tracing-capable hardware will still be able to see Minecraft's standard visuals. This means that they will be able to see my dirt, or lodges, for what they really are. Good thing I only accept ratings from ray-tracing players!

There's more! There's more! WIKIMEDIA The release comes with two new worlds that are free to play - Colosseum RTX (available now) and Dungeon Dash RTX (coming soon). You can download both from the Minecraft Marketplace.
