Via Sanguinis (Road of Blood)[edit]
Nickname: Sentinels.
The mysterious code of Assamites, handed down to them from their clan founder. It teaches that the blood of Caine is a dangerous and powerful gift, one that only the followers of this road are truly worthy of. Only Assamites may start with this road. A Sentinal generally would only teach one not of Haquim if that other Cainite proved herself as worthy as another Assamite.
It is HIGHLY recommended that you read Clanbook Assimite before playing a character on this road!
This road centers on protecting and serving the worthy with honor, and scouring the world of those who would foul the world with dishonor and evil deeds (in the eyes of Haquim).
Hierarchy of Sins[edit]
(1 is the most fundamental and 10 is the most minor)
Rating - Minimum Wrongdoing
10 Breaking your word of honor to a clanmate.
9 Failing to assist or avenge a clanmate; revealing clan secrets to outsiders.
8 Placing personal desires or ambition above duty.
7 Not killing a non-Assamite vampire when there is need.
6 Failing to pursue blood or knowledge in the face of minor danger.
5 Breaking your word of honor to a mortal.
4 Being disrespectful to clan leaders; not pursuing greater knowledge of Haqim’s teachings.
3 Failing to pursue vampire blood or knowledge of Caine when there is moderate danger.
2 Succumbing to frenzy.
1 Ignoring an opportunity to obtain vampire blood of a lower generation than your own. (However: Committing diablerie on an honorable person is considered anathema.)
