Minecraft is a major part of children's leisure time but it is now able to even help them to find the right job.



CareersCraft is a new Minecraft world created by Careers Wales, aims to assist children between the ages of eight and 13 discover and build their career skills and knowledge. Minecraft Servers



Six zones are based on landmarkssuch as the Senedd Big Pit, Coal Exchange, Caernarfon Castle, and the Big Pit.



Each zone is linked to an area of learning in the new Welsh curriculum. Minecraft Servers



It is free to download, however it is also available in a Welsh education edition is also available. This edition contains lessons plans for teachers.

The players explore the region and complete tasks and challenges as they move, gaining knowledge about careers and industries in Wales and discovering more about their strengths and interests.



Maggie is a student at Risca Comprehensive School in Caerphilly county, told us: "It was a fun experience, and it was great to learn about and explore different career options through Minecraft."



Ferne Another student said: "It made my think about my future, but it was fun."



Gareth Phillips from Careers Wales said: "CareersCraft is a hugely thrilling and innovative resource that we hope will boost the aspirations and expand the possibilities for future generations.



"It's been a joy to see young people from all over the world and developing their thinking and creative skills as well as problem-solving capabilities, all while learning about Welsh heritage culture and thinking about their future career paths."
