With fast growth comes challenges, of course and we've talked to Tobias Mollstam, the web developer behind Mincraft.net on the issues.

We know from experience that supporting many customers is the most challenging part of a small team. This was the problem Mojang was facing on a grand scale - particularly when their license order confirmation emails were lost.

We had an e-mail server that was dedicated to sending electronic mails prior to moving to Postmark. Minecraft It was a waste of time as we didn't have the tedious work required to ensure that e-mails were delivered. Deep space As our user base increased and so did our pile of support tickets for lost purchase confirmations - therefore, something was going to have to change.

Time is crucial when you're selling hundreds of copies of your software every hour.

Postmark was my favorite feature of the service. It took only three minutes to get up and running and has been chewing away eversince. We now have statistics on how our transactional email emails are performing. We'll be returning in the near future!

Sorry, folks, a DeLorean doesn't come with your Postmark account. It's only available after gamers make use of the game to construct replicas in scale for the Starship Enterprise.

A massive thank to Tobias for taking the time to talk to us . And congratulations on the continued success with Minecraft! We are huge fans of Minecraft and it's great to be able to enhance the experience for their customers.
